Tea Tree Oil is one of the most wonderful gifts that Nature has ever offered.
It is obtained by distilling Melaleuca alternifolia, a tree that grows on the east coast of Australia.
For centuries, Aboriginal people have used its leaves to treat wounds and skin infections and to protect themselves from insects that are particularly numerous in that swampy area.
It is an essential oil with exceptional antibacterial and antifungal qualities.
Internal use: Useful in all cases of bacterial and fungal infections; indicated in colds, coughs, flu, cystitis and sore throats (always diluted appropriately).
Helps the functionality of the first respiratory tract.
Outdoor use:
- very suitable for mouth and dental hygiene, also in the presence of dental abscesses, aphthae, stomatitis, gingivitis, pyorrhoea, herpes simplex
- in case of otitis or if there is ear wax in the ear
- to combat warts, leeks and corns
- disinfects insect bites and is unwelcome to lice
- indicated for impure skin, infections, pimples, acne and dermatitis
- mycosis or skin fungus
- onychomycosis or mycosis of the nails
- athlete’s foot
- candidiasis, vaginitis and genital infections
- itchy dermatoses or eczema
- dandruff.

Tea Tree Oil Kirei is so versatile, it should never be missing in our homes.

Fact: The name Tea tree was first used by the English captain James Cook, who in 1770, together with his sailors, learned from the Aborigines how to make a refreshing tea from the leaves of this tree.
Tea tree oil or Melaleuca alternifolia Kirei is pure and of high quality and is obtained from selected leaves.
Kirei essential oils are 100% pure and duly registered with the Ministry of Health as food supplements. They are steam extracted or cold-pressed.

HOW TO USE IT
It can be used for both indoor and outdoor use.
Internal use
Recommended daily dose: 4 – 5 drops 3 times a day on a cube of whole cane sugar, or in a teaspoon of honey or vegetable oil (extra virgin olive, sunflower, sesame, etc.).
Maximum daily dosage: 6 drops 3 times a day, always appropriately diluted, never pure!
For a milder intake, it is recommended to dilute the essential oil drops in a teaspoon of honey, then dissolve it in a glass of hot water or a cup of herbal tea.
The action of oral essential oils can be enhanced by external application through massage.
External use: if you decide to massage it directly into the skin, it is preferable to dilute it in a vegetable oil, e.g. Sweet Almond, Argan, Baobab or Kirei Rose Mosque oil (3-10% solution).
1 ml (millilitre) of Essential Oil corresponds to about (more or less) 20 – 25 drops.
- Oily and impure skin: pour a few drops onto moistened gauze or cotton and cleanse the area morning and evening.
- For gargling, mix 3-4 drops in 1/2 glass of lukewarm water.
- For vaginal douches dilute 25 drops in 400 ml sterilised water; as a preventive measure it may be useful to add 15 drops to Kirei intimate cleanser.
- Insect bites: dilute a few drops of Tea tree oil in a Kirei oil and apply to the skin affected by the bite.
- Dandruff: it is recommended to dilute 10 drops in a bottle of Kirei shampoo or you can prepare a hair lotion by mixing 4-5 drops in a tablespoon of water and alcohol.
- For fungus under the nails: penetrate under the nail with the help of a cotton ball or cotton bud at night before bedtime.
- To prevent irritation and hair under the skin, pour 3-4 drops on the beard brush when lathering.
Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Do not apply to mucous membranes, eyes and eye contour area. In pregnancy and lactation, seek medical advice. Asthma or allergy sufferers should test the essential oil on the crook of the arm by applying a few drops diluted before use.
Do not take the product absolutely, but dilute in a liquid foodstuff.
