Our History….
It is 2009. It is a cold evening in mid-October. Massimo Fioriello enters a restaurant in Monferrato for a dinner with friends. He is about to launch Kirei together with his friend Tullio Lanfranchi and work is his whole life. But he cannot find retailers who believe in Kirei: they say the public is not yet ready for organic cosmetics.
Surprisingly at dinner there is also Barbara Garbarino, a herbalist for almost 20 years in a dark period of her life. Barbara picks up a hand cream, looks at the ingredients and immediately realises that Kirei is not just a cosmetics company: it is a new lifestyle, more natural, more respectful of one’s body and the planet.
Today Barbara is a partner in Kirei, together with Massimo and Tullio. She has improved the products by inventing new formulas and has contributed to the company’s success. But Barbara and Massimo are not only partners, they are also life companions. Kirei has helped them to love themselves more and to open up to others.

Kirei was founded in 2009 with avery clear vision: to show people how to take care of their bodies and the planet with natural remedies, selecting above-average quality products, certified by the best-known national and global bodies (Aiab, Suolo a Salute, Ecogruppo Italia, Natrue, ec….) and strictly Made in Italy.
Over the years, Kirei has grown a great deal thanks to Barbara Garbarino,a herbalist with 30 years’ experience who has developed new product lines by selecting reliable laboratories capable of producing products of a high quality standard.

Massimo Fioriello,
Milanese by birth, he took his first steps in the world of work in 1991, in the Entertainment Division of the Mediaset Group, dealing with managers of the highest level who allowed him to forge his own character, accumulating a very important professional and, above all, human experience, which allowed him to manage, during his professional career, with extreme naturalness and simplicity, work groups of varying size, from a few dozen to thousands of people.
After about 10 years, he decided to change companies to gain new experiences and further enrich his professional background by joining the publishing group MC GRAW-HILL where he discovered the fascinating secrets behind a ‘Book’, from creation to publication.
His passion for human relations later led him to an unforgettable experience in the world of telephony by commercially managing more than 100 shops and around 500 employees.
Before becoming a freelancer, in 2011, he completed his managerial, corporate career in the Candy-Hoover Group, in the Small Household Appliances Division, dealing with the most important national Centres and Chains (Media World, Unieuro, Expert, Euronics….)
The friendship born with Tullio Lanfranchi during his experience in the Candy-Hoover Group and the strong appeal of the SPECIAL MARKETS led, in 2011, to the abandonment of the corporate manager’s role in order to face, on his own, a new, risky and fascinating challenge: the PROMOTIONAL MARKET (Points, Fidelity and Short collection catalogues already presided over by Tullio Lanfranchi), managing a pool of selected major companies in total autonomy.
At the same time as his business experience, thanks to his passion for all things natural and respect for the planet, he founded Kirei srl together with Tullio Lanfranchi in 2009.
Tullio Lanfranchi,
Originally from Bergamo and a hard worker, he has always loved being Unique and after brief experiences in the retail and household appliance sectors, he launched himself into the creation and development of the Small Appliances Division in family-run companies, dealing with the creation of the catalogue and distribution network in Italy. In just a few years, his careful and intensive work led to a significant increase in the size of the business and the spread of the brand throughout Italy (ARDES, SGL). His many long trips around Italy led him to meet many people and discover a passion for natural products.
His strong propensity for creating new business led him to the Candy Hoover Group in 2003, where he was called to create the SPECIAL MARKETS DIVISION and promote all the group’s product categories (small and large household appliances) at the most important brands on the national scene (Esselunga, Coop, Conad, Q8, Eni, etc.).
In 2009 he decided to create his own agency, founding TL PROMOTION and continuing to promote the brands of the Candy-Hoover Group, which he will join over time with other high-profile companies operating in different sectors (Briko, Casio, etc.). In 2011 Massimo Fioriello will join TL PROMOTION as a partner, completing the product offer with companies in other product sectors.
In 2009, after meeting Massimo Fioriello during their common experience in the Candy-Hoover Group, sharing a passion for natural and organic products he founded Kirei srl.
Barbara Garbarino (the herbalist of Kirei),
Piemontese doc, from Acqui Terme, hard worker and humble professional, she has forged her character over 22 years of intense, hard and rewarding work behind the counter of her herbalist shop ‘La Verbena’ in Nizza Monferrato (AT).
In 1992, life events snatched her away from a different university path to catapult her directly into the family herbalist shop, becoming, in time, a reference for the entire country and for recurring tourism.
In 2009, a fortuitous meeting, an immediate love at first sight with Massimo Fioriello, completely changed his life and became a very important reference for the birth and development of Kirei!
